Skrapt is a yearly music and arts festival held in Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands.
A showcase for the alternative community, a stage for new sounds, progressive acts, and a vibrant party atmosphere.
The first edition was in 2023, see movie by Frosti Jón Runólfsson:

Skrapt 2024 is held October 18th to 20th.
Three days full of captivating events focused around a cultural area in the heart of downtown Tórshavn
with the final closing event held in the water at the local swimming pool.
You will experience a variety of what the Faroes are about apart from the commercial scene. Different types of
performances in concerts, audio and video installations, performance art, readings and screenings, all of these crossing
over each other in an insatiable desire of pushing the artistic outcome.
Rólant Waag Dam about Skrapt in cultural newsletter Frí Mentan, Frihedsbrevet.fo on Aug 16th 2024 :
“... this musical refuge and the alternative mindset about music that Skrapt represents is needed in the Faroe Islands
– and especially in the capital, which is drowning in pop parties where the focus is on singing along and clapping in rhythm."
